Where have the days gone?
I have been putting off posting a new message for ages now. I have thought about it, but the stresses and strains of todays living have taken priority over other things.
I sit here today, pondering what to add to my blog. The months are flying by, and we have made some changes. In March we received the bad news that we would need to find other employment, you know, the economic situation, the credit crunch ....
Well, luck was on our side, and two interviews later, we had secured a job. Needless to say, it has been one of the best moves we have made. The house is small, the views are great, and the job is a dream (so far), even if it is very hard work. We are living right next to the farm dairy, and wouldn't even know it is there.
One of the highlights here is the water buffalo. These animals are very inquisitive and love the attention given to them by humans. They will back off when approached though. But they are great. We were watching them in a field one day, and they bounce around just like calves playing.
The break between messages has been a long one. I hope that I will be able to get on here more often. I look forward to your visits, and hope you enjoy coming to my place.
